Course Description:

Officers, Detectives, and SWAT operators interested in learning skills to avoid being taken to the ground, tactics to employ when fighting on the ground, weapon protection while on the ground, subject control, and getting up safely from the ground during the confrontation.

The course includes lectures, written materials, physical skills development and drills. Upon completion of the training the student should understand and / or correctly perform:

OBJECTIVE & CAPABILITY
The S.P.E.A.R. System is a modern close quarter combatives & personal
defense program based on science, psychology and human bio-
mechanics. It is not a martial art nor does it replace other martial
systems. We have standardized and simplified close quarter combatives
choices and improved potential effectiveness by basing the close
quarter skills on hardwired reflexes and reactions to violence.

Because S.P.E.A.R. System tactics are built upon hard-wired reflexes,
